What you do daily

  • Decomposing work for multiple SharePoint developers (2-3 people)

General Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ year’s development experience with SharePoint. Working knowledge of collaboration, search, application integration, content management, solution deployment, InfoPath, Excel services, workflow using Visual Studio, business data services, reporting services and SharePoint Designer (SharePoint 2013 App Development a plus).
  • In-depth experience with SharePoint Designer, Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Designer Workflows, InfoPath forms, SharePoint Installation and Configuration
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in ASP.Net, C#, WCF, Web Services development and/or other leading web languages (JQuery, JavaScript, JSON, HTML 5, and CSS 3)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of applied experience with Internet/Intranet technologies, platforms and integration with backend systems and databases.
  • Minimum of 3+ years SQL (2008 and 2012) relational database experience with demonstrable understanding of efficient retrieval and storage techniques.
  • Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.

<.Net Developer/>

The individual will work collaboratively with peers to develop, enhance and maintain applications such as: client specific websites and .NET applications. The candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively. Candidate must have proven interpersonal skills. Candidate will support current customer applications as well as develop new apps / modifications to current applications. Significant .NET development / GUI development required. Experience with SQL stored procedures is a must. Candidate must be familiar with the configuration and system testing process. This position requires an experienced, self-motivating individual capable of performing in a web development environment.

Required Education / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 4-5 years of progressive experience designing and developing .NET/Web applications and services for web based applications. Experience with some or all of the following: ASP.NET with C# or Visual Basic, Visual Studio, MVC, HTML and XHTML including HTML5, CSS, Internet Information Services, JavaScript and JQuery; Experience working with SQL stored procedures and Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server database engines - Understanding of Web Security methods; best practices & concepts; Intermediate skills with Web 2.0 functionality concepts; Intermediate skills with XML, RSS technologies, AJAX, SOAP, concepts; Knowledge of multiple web technologies & best practices; Familiarity with web application framework and protocols such as HTTP and TCP. <API Architect/>

This role will be an expert resource in design, configuration, construction, and maintenance of APIs in industry leading API Management software products (i.e. CA/Layer 7 APIM) while overseeing and building out a team of technical resources for scaled delivery. The API Architect participates in the business and technical relationship with the client and is tasked with creating innovative solutions for every client’s complex needs. This person understands the business problem, is an effective communicator and can create a solution that achieves a mutually accepted notion of success in terms of project delivery. The API Architect is knowledgeable of API best practices and frameworks, with proficiency in applying these concepts to specific client landscapes, always driven by a focus on delivering value against the client’s business, financial, and technical goals. Position expectations and functions
  • Acts in a lead technical role, providing expertise and guidance to groups across the enterprise in the design and support of architecture and infrastructure solutions for the API/integration layer, especially as it supports digital customer-facing applications.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and new technologies for potential application within the enterprise.
  • Facilitates and reviews the definition and implementation of standards, methodologies, and best practices that guide the design of APIs and supporting technologies/solutions.
  • Oversees and participates in the design, implementation, administration, and support of API-related systems architecture and infrastructure products and services.
  • Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the integrity of enterprise APIs and supporting systems, to include security, availability, reliability, and scalability across multistage deployment environments.
  • Assists in identifying root cause of complex systems problems as needed.
  • Is comfortable communicating with and representing Vanick’s brand with Fortune 50, 100, and 500 clients.
  • Interacts directly with business-oriented clients to communicate technology benefits and extract ultimate high-level drivers for a given initiative. Then processes this information, architecting a technical solution to satisfy these goals, providing a translation layer to technically-oriented departments and resources.
  • Communicates with vendors and service providers to gain a clear understanding of product or service capabilities and costs. Identifies potential risks, analyzes costs vs. benefits, and potential impact on operations associated with new technologies, products, and services.
  • Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time, and work effort needed to design and implement complex technical solutions.
  • Leads a moderately-sized team built for API solution delivery, focused on API Management product configuration and build out over time (i.e. CA/Layer 7 or Apigee APIM).
  • Thrives in an environment being established in a cutting-edge digital space and relishes the opportunity to help establish and grow the people, products, and processes behind it.
  • Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff.
  • Travel: Travel varies per client with peak times during sales cycle and initial project kick-off. Overall time may reach 25% total travel.
Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience with most of the following areas:
  • APIs, Web Services (minimal latency, highly available, scalable, accommodating varied consumption models, etc.)
  • API Management (i.e. CA/Layer 7 or Apigee APIM)
  • Integration & Network architecture (as it relates to digital business infrastructure)
  • 3+ years of Enterprise API Architecture experience
